New Camera Test
For my birthday last month, my beautiful wife, bought me a new camera, a Fujifilm X-E1. I had some old manual Olympus lenses from my father in law, and with the aid of a 10 euro adapter they just pop on. It is totally different from my other cameras as it is all totally manual, no auto-focus too which makes for interesting times trying to photograph the kids!
Still it is a fun little camera and delivers some great images in full RAW format (digital negatives) and is a lot smaller than my Canon DSLR. Mirrorless cameras are making a real impact at the moment with some fantastic cameras coming from Fuji, Sony, Panasonic and Olympus. They range in price from about 400 to 1700 Euros but there arealways deals to be found on sites such as ebay.
