Remembrance Day 2019

Today, 101 years ago the Armistice was signed that ended the Great War of 1914-18.

Yesterday was The remembrance Sunday, that we should remember all those that have fallen and also those that did not fall but have been forgotten.

My family Joined me at the local War Memorial here in Mayrhofen to show our respect for those who shall not grow old. If we do not remember them, and for what they sacrificed then it is too easy for such tragedies to happen again and for many more young men and women not to come home to their families.

‘Give Peace a chance’ John Lennon

my youngest reading the names on the memorial, they are 100 years old but still the same as today.
