Hoch über Schwaz, umgeben von goldenen Wäldern und alten Steinmauern, feierten Christina und Lukas eine Hochzeit wie aus einem Märchen.
Oktober ist vielleicht nicht der erste Monat, der einem für Hochzeiten in den Sinn kommt – doch mit den tiefen, goldenen Farben des Herbstes und der atemberaubenden Kulisse der Burgkapelle mit Blick auf Schwaz und das Inntal war der Tag für Christina und Lukas einfach magisch.
Der Morgen begann im Herzen der Schwazer Altstadt, wo sich das Paar im historischen Standesamt, einem gotischen Juwel mit geschichtsträchtigen Gewölbedecken, das Jawort gab. Nach der Zeremonie schlenderten wir mit der Familie zur nahegelegenen Stadtkirche. Auf den Kirchenstufen stießen wir mit einem kleinen, feierlichen Toast an, Lachen erfüllte die frische Herbstluft, während wir im sanften Morgenlicht entspannte Gruppenfotos machten.
Nach einer kurzen Pause zum Umziehen und Erfrischen war es Zeit für die Freie Trauung auf der alten Burg hoch über dem Tal. Burg Freundsberg mit ihren jahrhundertealten Steinmauern und der atemberaubenden Aussicht war wie geschaffen für solche Tage.
Die Zeremonie war herzlich und intim, eingerahmt von den leuchtenden Farben der umliegenden Wälder. Anschließend stiegen wir mit Christina und Lukas für ihre Brautporträts auf den Burgturm – ein ruhiger Moment abseits der Feierlichkeiten, mit nichts als dem Wind, der Aussicht und ihrer Freude.

Als die Sonne hinter den Bergen verschwand, machten wir uns im Konvoi auf den Weg zum Kohleralmhof in Fügen, wo die Feierlichkeiten bis spät in die Nacht weitergingen. Gutes Essen, viel Gelächter und eine volle Tanzfläche – genau so, wie eine Hochzeit sein soll.

High above Schwaz, surrounded by golden forests and ancient stone walls, Christina and Lukas celebrated a wedding straight out of a fairytale.
October might not be the first month that comes to mind for weddings — but with the deep, golden hues of autumn, and the breathtaking backdrop of the Chapel at Burg Freundsberg overlooking the town of Schwaz and the Inntal valley, Christina and Lukas’ day was nothing short of magical.
The morning began in the heart of Schwaz’s old quarter, where the couple exchanged vows in the historic registry office, a Gothic gem with vaulted ceilings steeped in history. After the ceremony, we strolled with close family to the town church nearby. Glasses clinked in a small celebratory toast on the church steps, laughter filling the crisp autumn air, as we captured some relaxed group photos in the soft morning light.
After a short break to change and refresh, it was time for the Freie Trauung at the old castle perched high above the valley. Burg Freundsberg, with its centuries-old stone walls and sweeping views, felt almost made for days like this.
The ceremony was heartfelt and intimate, framed by the rich colors of the surrounding forests. Afterward, we climbed to the very top of the castle tower with Christina and Lukas for their bridal portraits — a quiet moment away from the celebrations, with nothing but the wind, the view, and their joy.

As the sun began to dip behind the mountains, we set off in convoy to the Kohleralmhof in Fügen, where the festivities continued late into the night. Good food, plenty of laughter, and a packed dance floor — exactly how a wedding should be.
