Der November ist normalerweise nicht für seine Hochzeitssaison bekannt, aber das bedeutet nicht, dass man dann nicht heiraten kann.

Und allen Zweiflern, die sich an ihrem Hochzeitstag blauen Himmel und Sonnenschein wünschen, sei gesagt, dass das Licht an einem regnerischen Tag zehnmal besser für Ihre Fotos ist, und dass wir gerade hier in den Bergen ein gewisses Element der Dramatik einfangen unsere großen steinernen Begleiter.

Anja und Philip hatten genau das an ihrem Hochzeitstag. Nachdem wir eine intime Zeremonie hatten, mit einem Schnaps mit dem Standesamt (allerdings nicht mit mir, da ich nicht trinke und schieße – das funktioniert nicht mit und ich möchte gerne meinen Vorsprung behalten!), machten wir uns dann auf den Weg zu einem kleinen Ort in Madseit, den ich kenne einige tolle Panoramen auf die Berge und den Gletscher bei Hintertux. Als wir hier fertig waren, begann es zu regnen, aber das hinderte uns nicht daran, großartige Fotos zu machen.

Unser nächster Halt war die wunderschöne 250 Jahre alte Tristenbach Alm im Floitental, Ginzling.

Obwohl die Saison vorbei war, sagte Stefan, dass er sich für ein privates Fotoshooting für uns öffnen würde. Was für eine Legende! Obwohl es regnete, hielten wir es aus und mit Hilfe von Regenschirmen, Schnaps und einem warmen Feuer schafften wir es.

Alles, was benötigt wird, ist eine positive Geisteshaltung (und Schnaps!)

An Autumnal wedding for two in Tux & Ginzling | the romatic wedding of Anja & Philip

November is not normally known for its wedding season but that doesnt mean that you cant get married then.

And to all the naysayers who wish for blue skies and sunshine on their wedding day, I give you this that the light on a rainy day is 10 times better for your photos, and especially here in the mountains we capture a certain element of drama with our large stone companions.

Anja & Philip, had just this on their wedding day. After we had an intimate ceremony, with a schnapps with the Standesamt (not me though, as I dont drink & shoot - doesnt work with and I like to keep my edge!) then we headed to a little place I know in Madseit to get some great panoramas of the mountains and the Glacier at Hintertux. As we finished here, the rain started, but that did not hinder us in our quest for great photography.

Our next stop was the beuatiful 250 year old hut of Tristenbach Alm in the Floitental, Ginzling.

Although , the season was past, Stefan, the wirt said that he would open up for us to have a private photoshoot. What a legend! Although the rain was coming down we endured and with the help of umbrellas, schnapps and a warm fire we suceeded.

All that is needed is a positive mental attitude (and Schnapps!)
