More photos from this summer with the boys, and their summer bucket list. This time it was ‘climb a mountain’ so we did.

Mayrhofen has several different Klettersteigs (Via Ferrata or Iron way) which is a fixed steel cable up a climbing route so that you don’t have to have someone to belay you. You simply have 2 carabiners attached to your harness and simply clip on to the line. Every 5 meters or so you have a bolt on to the mountain and you simply clip one carabiner accross at a time meaning that you are always attached.

A great way to spend the afternoon especially with beer and schnitzel waiting at the top!
