Lunaris
Sorry I haven’t been about for some time but in these strange times that we are living in life has been busy. Even to the point that I completely forgot about monochrome Oktober this year!
Anyway In a burst of normality my eldest son had his 9th bithrday and as every 9 year old should have, he got a Telescope (which he did ask for in case you were wondering!) anyway the weather here in the mountains has not been playing ball recently, but this morning it cleared up so that we could have a look at Mars during its closest ascension to earth for the next 13 years, but the star of the show was definately the good old trusty moon. Luna.
We captured this picture with an iPhone 5 in the dark by hand so it sort of works but I just wanted to show you the “Magnificent desolation” (Buzz Aldrin, July 1969) of our only (real) satellite.
